FOODIES REJOICE!

Let‘s start by exploring the eclectic and fun food experiences on St. Clair West between Christie and Lansdowne.  

Some of our favourite experiences in the area have to be the addition of two fantastic French Patisseries. Both are great and we regularly alternate between the two: “Patachou” @ St. Clair and Winona, and “Pain Perdu” near Arlington.

Patachou has more Variety for lunch/savoury items. Both have superb & very different croissants, great café au lait and “gateaux basques”. Try the latter, if you’ve never had this cake from the Basque region of France.

Nama Sushi has superb sushi, Vanipha Lanna for Thai/Lao cuisine, Regal Heights Bistro has good bistro food and a lovely environment.

There are too many wonderful Italian eateries to name them all, but for value & superior food, try “Ferro” and “Marcello’s”. Our favourite evening is dinner at Marcello’s, followed by ice cream at the fabulous “La Paloma” just west of Lansdowne.

We must not forget the many Latin/Cuban/Mexican places that have cropped up in the last few years.

For coffee, music and good company, try Ellington’s.
